CW and outdoor radio — that is what we were looking for. Hamvention in Dayton is something every ham radio operator should experience at least once and this was our first! We went with CW and portable radio on our minds, talked to vendors, and were super grateful to meet so many people in person for the first time. We also give our honest take on how Dayton Hamvention stacks up against Huntsville Hamfest. Guess we have to go to Orlando next year!
